Turning on the integrated floodlight in the dark allows the camera to record and stream video in color, which is great, but I did prefer the video quality in IR mode.
I also like how eufy provides the power to line your night-sight preferences in app. Choices include having strictly IR black and white night-sight , or the floodlight are often set to automatically activate when motion is detected.

Speaking of choices, i prefer how the camera is out there in both the eufy Security app and thru Apple’s Home app. As of immediately , you’ll need eufy’s app to access your recorded videos, but the corporate is planning on releasing an update soon which can integrate with HomeKit Secure Video which will give the house app how to store and access the footage.
SIREN SLIP-UP
