Design & built
The TV’s 2.8′′ (7.1 cm) thickness makes it attractive when mounted on a wall because it doesn’t protrude very far from the wall. This is definitely made easier by using a Direct LED backlight rather than a FALD one. The TV is supported by two metal legs in the form of an inverted V and is mounted on a wall using the usual VESA screw holes.
Ports
Three HDMI ports (one eARC), two USB ports, an antenna/cable connector, and four 3.5mm connectors for headphones, composite video input, serial control, and service are all available from the left. Directly behind the screen are a fourth HDMI port, an Ethernet port, and an optical audio output.

Display
We observed 267 nits for HDR brightness over a 10% brightness, which is once more incredibly low and prevents it from displaying HDR material as it should. Highlights don’t shine out at all with such a low brightness output, and the overall HDR effect is lost because of the dark image.
Compared to the aforementioned models, the local dimming array also doesn’t get particularly dark; it displays a black level of 0.04 nits with an SDR signal and 0.03 nits with an HDR signal for an effective HDR contrast ratio of 19,608:1. For a cheap TV, this is still rather impressive.
Colour
SDR accuracy is very good right out of the box with the Hisense A6 Series. White balance and color fidelity have a few small flaws, particularly in intense greens and reds, although they are not particularly noticeable. It is quite near to the intended color temperature of 6500K. Gamma is nearly at the 2.2 level we use for a fairly illuminated environment, however dark situations are a little too bright.
Smart feature
Additionally, Google Assistant is made available through Google TV, allowing you to voice-control compatible smart home devices and the TV while also searching for content, getting essential information like sports scores and the weather, and performing other activities. You may use Google Assistant hands-free on the U6H by just saying “Hey Google” and then the command you want to give. There is a far-field microphone array on the bottom edge of the screen. You might also speak into the remote by pressing the Google Assistant button.
Audio
Hisense A65H Series 55-inch gaming
The television automatically calibrates itself to optimize sports material using the pre-set settings for sports mode. For the finest sports viewing experience possible on television, motion has been smoothed out and colors have been modified.
A variety of technologies are used in Game Mode Plus to produce a dynamic gaming experience. This TV is capable of withstanding the demands of next-generation gaming consoles thanks to its 60Hz panel, customizable refresh rate, and auto low latency mode.
It has a 60Hz display that isn’t all that amazing and doesn’t support AMD FreeSync or Nvidia G-Sync, but it does offer variable refresh rate (VRR). Input lag for the TV is also a little excessive; in Game mode, we recorded a latency of 11.1 milliseconds with the help of an HDFury Diva HDMI matrix.
The Hisense A65H guarantees incredibly minimal lag for responsive and fluid gameplay. Motion blur should be minimized in game mode and sports mode with an input lag of 9ms. Because of this, the A6H is an excellent companion for someone looking for a very affordable gaming screen. The only drawback is that since this is a 60Hz display, no 4K/120 games will run on it.
Remote
The huge, white, circular navigation pad is located near the top of the black, rectangular remote control that is made of plastic. Above the navigation pad are buttons for power, input, settings, user accounts, Google Assistant, a pinhole microphone, and an indication LED. Playback controls, channel rockers, and special service buttons for Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, Peacock, Tubi, and YouTube are located below the navigation pad.
