2023 Toshiba 55-inch C350 Series LED TV Price

There are 43-, 50-, and 55-inch models of the Toshiba C350 series now on the market, with 65- and 75-inch models following soon. The MSRP of the 50-inch 50C350 is $469.99, although it is frequently offered for less. Although it seems like a good alternative for frugal consumers and has remarkably little input lag for gamers, its low contrast and dark display make it difficult to recommend in its entirety.

        Built & design

Access your preferred streaming services, such as Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and others, directly from the TV with built-in Fire TV capabilities. Take advantage of seamless watching with simple navigation and a variety of content to choose from. With a thin bezel that maximizes the screen area and improves your viewing experience, the C350 Series has an elegant and contemporary design.A narrow, slightly forward-angled strip of brushed metal runs along the bottom edge of the screen.

        Connectivity

Multiple HDMI and USB connections make it simple to connect your devices, enabling you to connect gaming consoles, soundbars, and other accessories. All ports are awkwardly placed in the center of the TV’s back, away from the sides where side-mounted ports would be more practical. Two USB ports, an optical audio output, an Ethernet port, four HDMI ports (one of which is an eARC), and an antenna/cable connector all face left but are located so far from the edges of the TV that you must reach extremely far inside to make any connection changes. Right-facing power cord connection.

            • HDMI inputs: four

            • Composite analog input

            • USB ports: two (0.5A power)

            • Internet: Wi-Fi, Wired

            • Antenna input

            • Analog audio output (3.5mm)

            • Optical digital audio output

            • Speakers: two downward-firing

          Display

The 4K TV with a 60Hz refresh rate is the Toshiba 50C350. It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR) video. The Toshiba C350’s HDR brightness is subpar. Although it becomes brighter than in SDR, the highlights do not stand out in HDR. Again, there is no distinction in brightness among the scenes. The EOTF doesn’t follow the target very well since brighter scenes are too dark and darker scenes are too bright, losing details in both cases.

          Viewing angle

The viewing angle on the Toshiba C350 Series is favorable. Very little color change occurs as you go to the side, and the image stays consistent; however, at extremely wide angles, it seems darker. This makes it a suitable option for a large seating arrangement because it ensures that even people seated on the side will see the same image.

          Refresh rate

We are pleasantly surprised by the C350’s gaming performance. With a 60Hz refresh rate and no gamer-specific features like variable refresh rate (VRR), it appears lackluster on paper. The TV truly shines, though, when it comes to input lag.

          Audio quality

Experience enhanced audio with the integrated Dolby Atmos technology, delivering immersive surround sound for a truly cinematic experience. Whether you’re watching movies, sports, or playing games, the C350 Series ensures an immersive and enjoyable audiovisual experience.

          Voice Assistance

Stay connected with the C350 Series smart features, including voice control through Alexa. Simply use your voice to search for your favorite content, control smart home devices, and more. With Alexa, your TV becomes the center of your smart home ecosystem.

          Remote

It has a noticeable circular navigation pad towards the top and is a slim, black, rectangular wand with slightly rounded top and bottom corners. Above the navigation pad are buttons for power and the microphone, which has a pinhole. Lower on the remote are specific service buttons for Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and the volume and channel rockers.

Toshiba All-New 55-inch Class C350 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV Customer review

          Awesome TV

This TV is truly beautiful. My husband and I moved into a new place and got it for our living room wall. It hangs quite nicely on the wall and can be seen clearly from anywhere in the room. The built-in speakers are great as is the picture. It is very clear and the colors are bright. Not only this, it has different settings for gaming and movies and regular TV watching. The colors are vivid and the lines crisp. I love having so many app options as well. We do not have cable TV so having every streaming app as an option is very helpful.

          Which is better?

While lacking a voice assistant, the Vizio MQ6 series has superior contrast and color for about the same price. It also supports Google Cast and Apple AirPlay. In the end, the TCL 6-Series continues to be our top option for inexpensive TVs. Although it costs a little more than the Toshiba or Vizio versions and lacks a voice assistant, its color and contrast outperform those of the other two with far brighter images and deeper blacks.
