Picture Quality
With LED backlighting technology, the Insignia 43 LED TV offers excellent picture quality and contrast. The display ensures deep blacks and bright whites, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Additionally, its wide viewing angles allow for comfortable watching from different positions in the room.
Audio Performance
While the Insignia 43 LED TV isn’t equipped with high-end audio features, it delivers decent sound quality. With built-in stereo speakers, the TV produces clear dialogue and adequate volume levels. However, for a more immersive audio experience, connecting external audio devices like soundbars or speakers is recommended.
Smart Features and Connectivity
The Insignia 43 LED TV comes with built-in smart features, allowing you to access popular streaming services and apps. With its integrated Wi-Fi, you can connect to your home network effortlessly. It also includes multiple HDMI and USB ports to connect various devices such as game consoles, streaming devices, and media players.
User-Friendly Interface

The on-screen menu provides a seamless browsing experience, enabling hassle-free customization and adjustment of settings.
Insignia 43 LED TV NS-43D420NA18 Setup
Initial setup is straightforward and easy. There are various tabs for configuring the various components of the screen, such as ones for the channels, audio, and aesthetics. I prefer to keep the Vivid setting for the tab that controls the visual display, with a few minor tweaks, for the bold, beautiful colors. I’m not sure how to describe it, but you can tell the sound is coming from the TV even though it comes directly from the units themselves. It nearly sounds more monoaural than stereo. If you really want higher music quality, I would advise attaching some sort of speaker system. Additionally, I like how the HDMI ports are placed on the side rather than.

Works Great with ROKU
Wanted a bigger TV for basement. Use ROKU, so don’t have need for a Smart TV. Putting a ROKU Streaming Stick on your dumb TV will make it smart. Great price. Picture looks good. It’s a bit slow changing from one channel to another, but that’s no big deal. The placement of the legs of the TV made it too big for my TV stand. So, I removed the feet and ordered a Table-Top TV stand from Amazon and it works great. A little extra cost, but I got such a great price on the TV, it was worth it not having to get a new TV stand or jerry-rig the present one. I knew this Insignia brand was decent, cuz I purchased a small one for countertop in kitchen. Picture’s great on that, too.

Is Insignia TV worth it?
Each of its models is a “smart” TV, which means that it can be connected to the internet and that it can handle video streaming services like Amazon’s Fire TV smart platform.
The TVs from Insignia have common features including HDMI ARC input and VESA mounting capabilities.
The premium picture features seen on higher-priced TVs, including HDR10+, support for 120 Hz, or features geared toward gaming, such VRR, are not available on Insignia TVs. A full-array local dimming display technology
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Insignia 43 LED TV is a reliable option that offers good value for its price. While it may not have the advanced features found in higher-end models, it delivers a solid performance with its picture quality, user-friendly interface, and convenient smart features. Whether you’re looking for a TV for your living room, bedroom, or office, the Insignia 43 LED TV is definitely worth considering.
